Ministry Focus:  Contemporary Praise & Worship

At First Nazarene, we recognize four distinct aspects of our corporate worship:

• Worship of Praise in Music:  "Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary.... Let everything that has breath praise the LORD" (Psalm 150).

● Worship in Prayer: "...My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations" (Isaiah 56:7).


• Worship in Giving: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. ‘Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it’" (Mal. 3:10).

• Worship in the Word of God: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
